Scholarships (our scholarhips funds have been exhausted, we encourage you to register as a volunteer, which is a deeply discounted registration fee).

We are offering need-based travel and registration scholarships to attend the conference. Our goal is to provide an opportunity for those who might not otherwise be able to attend the workshop due to the cost; and to increase participation of underrepresented peoples and geographic areas in the Wildland Fire Community to attend, present their work, network with others, and engage in peer-to-peer learning.

Applications will be accepted continuously until the conference. However, we will begin reviewing the applications and making awards on January 15. The award is complimentary registration to the conference, and/or $500 USD for travel expenses for those attending in person. If selected, you will receive an email with instructions on how to register for the conference. You will receive your travel reimbursement when you arrive at the conference.
